This is a great little product. I bought it because my dog "waterskis' in front of me when we walk. When she wears the pack, she walks alongside me with pride. It has velcro closures, and the pack can be easily unhitched from the straps when you want to tarry for awhile. Well designied, sturdy, and the supplier had excellent communication with me. Try it!
